Golden Yunnan Black
The Golden Yunnan black has a sweet, special flavour and distinguishes itself clearly from other black teas.
This black tea has major golden buds and comes from the Puerh region. A remarkable tea to add to your own black tea adventure.
Golden Yunnan black is the only black tea coming from the Puerh region close to Myanmar. This tea comes from the large leaf cultivar of the Camellia Sinensis. The leaves are small and tightly curled, with golden buds, which are light in colour.
We feel very fortunate to be able to buy this tea from old Mrs. Wang. Together with her niece she runs a small, but very successful, tea business in Fengqing. Every year she manages to produce the best tea because of her knowledge and her enthusiasm. On top of that, she is also a wonderfull storyteller. We have been working with her for many years and she knows exactly what quality we are looking for.
We are very pleased to be able to offer this wonderful Chinese tea online. Enjoy this tea with its beautiful appearance and its delicious sweet taste.

Use 2-3 grams for a glass of this tea and about 5 grams for a teapot. Let it pull at 90°C. Depending on personal preference, give a short moment up to a minute for an infusion. However, it is crucial not to let the tea steep too long. Otherwise, the taste becomes bitter. When you use a kung fu tea set, use about 3 grams of this black tea, and these are about 10 seconds per infusion drag.
